I’m Sue Reeve, owner and founder of Windmill Bookkeeping & Training Services here in Cumbria. I’m a bookkeeper, trainer, and the founder of the Business Finance Academy, my new membership for business owners to get on track with their own bookkeeping.

I created Windmill BTS in 2019 as I wanted to run my own business.  It was my dream and here I am, living in Cumbria and helping others to achieve their dreams too. Who knew that bookkeeping and business finances could be so rewarding!

I love helping people and training for me is my passion, it’s something I really enjoy.  Sharing my knowledge and expertise, having been a bookkeeper for nearly 40 years brings me so much joy.

Basically, I love helping those in business with their numbers.📈

I’m passionate about helping others to not only organise, but understand the numbers in their business.

Understanding the numbers enables you to have the clarity to make the important decisions to help your business grow & to reach your goals.

Bookkeeping isn’t just about crunching numbers, keeping records and submitting your tax return every year.  Yes you have to do it but really it’s about all the big stuff you can do once you know your numbers and have all the financial information you need at your fingertips.

The Business Finance Academy is a membership for business owners who need support to do their own bookkeeping. Running a business as we all know is no easy task, but I’m here to support you. To run a successful business, you need to ensure that everything is setup correctly and your business finances are organised, ensuring you are efficient, successful and ultimately create a solid foundation from which you can scale and grow your business.

As a bookkeeper for 40 years, I know from talking to small business owners and sole traders that bookkeeping saps your energy, but you know you must do it. You want to be spending time working with your clients, doing the stuff you love, the stuff that generates income and new business, not faffing about with the paperwork, record keeping and tax returns, but you might not be able to invest in a bookkeeper right now to do it all for you.

How would you feel if you had regular support, guidance and training?

Knowing what you can and cannot claim, ensuring that you can retain more of your income to spend on the things you love to do?

Knowing that your self-assessment for next January will be complete by September so you have time to save, instead of worrying about how much you will owe on deadline day.
