I’m Sue Reeve, established bookkeeper for 40 years, based in Cumbria. I provide a friendly, reliable and professional service to sole traders and small businesses, I work with clients throughout the UK.

I specialise in helping businesses to install and configure accounting software, enabling them to keep a really close eye on how their business is performing. I configure the system, processes, and reports to ensure that my clients have the latest financial numbers, which define the health of their business, enabling them to plan for the future. I call this Business Progress Planning and it is something my clients tell me they wish they had implemented when they started their businesses, as it allows them more time for their families, holidays and business development doing what they love, which is often not balancing the books.

For those clients who don’t want to do their own bookkeeping I offer several affordable packages. Equally for those who do want to do their bookkeeping I am able to arm them with exactly what they need in the form of training and my membership, the Business Finance Academy !

Software Training

In addition to being a Xero Bronze Partner I’m also a qualified tutor and hold an Award in Education & Training. I offer training services on Xero & FreeAgent accounting software, either on a one to one or small group basis. I can offer face to face and remote training too. My training service will allow you or your team to acquire the skills you need to do your own bookkeeping.

About Me

I am Sue Reeve, I’ve been a bookkeeper for 40 years. I am based in Cumbria, near to the sea, with strong links to Derbyshire, having lived there for most of my life. I have clients all over the UK.

I grew up in a pub and trained in finance and bookkeeping straight out of school. During a break from my finance career, I used to run a pub, but soon realised that I have a lot of knowledge to offer and share as a bookkeeper so decided to start my own business. I refer to myself as a bit of a foodie…I love to cook and enjoy fine dining and the occasional cocktail!
